July 2009: all branches shed except one, which remains healthy. This means that the south side of the trunk is now dead, and beginning to rot away.
The tree lost the hole crown in 2008 in a severe storm, but in 2012 still fruits are growing on a branch which lies on the ground and has a connection to the trunk
Tree seems to have one healthy branch, laying on floor. Significant rot in cavity. by 2019
Girth is now 6.30m at 0.8m height (Aug 2019). Girth 5.74 at 1.5m height. This shows that some loss of tree structure has occurred
Girth is 6.00m at 1.5m height (Oct 2022). One healthy branch doing well.
